Silent voices: Information for participants in research
Dear Participant,
This study is carried out by the EduRESCUE project, led by Professor Marja-Kristiina Lerkkanen. Researchers from the University of Jyväskylä, the University of Turku and the University of Helsinki are involved in the project.
The study aims to map the experiences of children, youth, and their families on the corona pandemic, and what could be learned from these experiences. The study is carried out as a Webropol survey. Participating in the study does not cause you any harm.
If you wish, you can participate in the gift card lottery. 50 gift cards (worth 10 EUR) for the K-Group are drawn among respondents.
The survey will be answered anonymously and will not collect your personal data. If you want to participate in the gift card lottery, you can provide your contact details on a separate form at the end of the survey. Your contacts cannot be linked to the answers you provide. In this study, we will treat your information based on public interest and ask for your consent to participate in the study. The results of the study will be used, for example, in the development of schools, and planning the teaching practices in the future.
We would like to ask you to participate in our study because your experiences and insights are valuable and provide important information on how children, youth and families have experienced the corona pandemic.

Voluntariness and the rights of research subjects
Participating in this study is completely voluntary. You can refuse to participate in the study, withdraw your consent or cancel your participation in this study. You do not have to tell us why you do not want to participate.
