Work Package 3: Capacity building of teachers for resilient schools of tomorrow and legal requirements for adaptive and sustainable education

Concern has risen during the COVID-19 pandemic about the well-being of teachers and teacher training students in unpredictable crises, their competence to support pupils regardless of the form of teaching, and the inequality of children and young people. Therefore, work package 3 aims at developing models, tools and content for teacher training which will strengthen the teacher training students' interaction and socio-emotional competence, capacity to foster diversity and guide peer interaction, and deal also with challenging teaching situations in exceptional circumstances. WP3 works in broad cooperation with stakeholders. In addition, WP3 will analyse how the existing legal rules should be interpreted and applied to ensure the children's right to equal and high-quality education and to supportive learning environment. WP3 will also examine if organizing the equal and high-quality education requires changes to the legislation.
